Do Not Call Policy

Last updated: September 2026

PermitAxis contacts contractors and trade businesses to tell them about the service. This page explains how we do that, what rules we hold ourselves to, and how to make it stop. A copy of this policy is available on request to anyone we contact.

Take me off the list

Any one of these works. You don't have to explain, and we won't try to talk you out of it:

Requests are honoured immediately and always within 10 business days. We keep a permanent record so the same number or address is never contacted again — including if it turns up in a future batch of public records.

1. Who We Contact and Why

We contact businesses, not consumers — licensed contractors and trade companies whose contact details appear in Washington State's public contractor licensing records (WA L&I), and occasionally in a business's own public social media posts. The purpose is always the same: to tell that business about PermitAxis. We don't contact homeowners or the property owners who appear in our reports, and we never sell or share the contact information we gather.

3. How We Call

4. Registries

The federal and Washington Do Not Call registries are built for residential lines, and business-to-business calls are generally treated differently. We don't rely on that distinction as a licence to be a nuisance: if a number reaches a person who doesn't want to hear from us, it goes on our internal list and stays there, regardless of what any registry says about it.

5. Email

Marketing email from PermitAxis carries a working unsubscribe link and our physical mailing address, and unsubscribes are processed immediately. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and who we share it with — the short version is that we don't sell anything to anyone.

6. If We Get It Wrong

If you asked to be removed and heard from us again, that's a mistake we want to know about. Email jobo2business@gmail.com or call (425) 551-9449 and we'll confirm in writing that you've been removed and tell you what went wrong.

A note for PermitAxis subscribers: this policy describes how we do outreach. It is not advice about your own calling, and it doesn't cover you. The leads in your report are a starting point — how you contact them is your responsibility under Section 10 of our Terms of Service.
